How do you control it?¶
Find the MIDI ports, then start the bridge with this driver:
osc-bridge detect # prints the ready-to-run line for what is plugged in
osc-bridge run --device devices/m-vave/fm-1.vendor.fw-felucca-1.6.1.json --out-port <N> --in-port <M>
Then send OSC to 127.0.0.1:7777, for example:
From Claude or any MCP client, the osc-bridge mcp server exposes this driver as fm1_felucca: ask “what can the M-VAVE FM-1 do?” and it reads this map with list_routes. See the MCP guide.

Performance MIDI¶
Notes, pitch bend and any CC are also available: /fm1_felucca/note/on <note> <velocity>, /fm1_felucca/cc/<number> <value>, /fm1_felucca/pitchbend <0-16383>, /fm1_felucca/program_change <n>.
Limitations¶
Felucca 1.6.1: 4 tracks (3 synth parts + 1 drum track). By default channels 1-4 play tracks 1-4 (MIDI > MIDI IN also offers 5-8, 9-12, 13-16, the selected track, or one channel per track). CC values are scaled to each parameter's range. Bend range by RPN 0 (default ±2). No NRPN. 16 more CCs can be learned on the unit. Program change n loads the n-th factory preset of the track's engine (DRUM: kit n; FM6: F1-F8 then the bank's B1-B32). Presets and DX7 banks travel through Felucca's own SysEx editor protocol (`F0 7D 46 4C cmd …`); there is no raw DX7 SysEx on the unit. Most other FM-1 firmwares (Melodee, X0X, ChoralRoot, GHOULBOX, DUELL, Jangada, Hortator…) are built on Felucca and keep this map unless their own driver says otherwise.
