Use it
Find the MIDI ports, then start the bridge with this driver:
osc-bridge detect # prints the ready-to-run line for what is plugged in
osc-bridge run --device devices/akai/s950.vendor.fw-unknown.json --out-port <N> --in-port <M>
Then send OSC to 127.0.0.1:7777, for example:
From Claude or any MCP client, the osc-bridge mcp server exposes this driver as s950: ask “what can the Akai S950 do?” and it reads this map with list_routes. See the MCP guide.

Performance MIDI
Notes, pitch bend and any CC are also available: /s950/note/on <note> <velocity>, /s950/cc/<number> <value>, /s950/pitchbend <0-16383>, /s950/program_change <n>.
Limitations
Source: S950 Operator's Manual. Notes 0-127 are recognized (24-96 sound as true voices), velocity on Note On and release velocity on Note Off, channel pressure, pitch bend (range 0-12 semitones, set on MIDI page 04, default 7), and Program Change 1-128 selecting the program with that preset number when 'Prog change' is ON (default). Receive channel 1 without disk. System Exclusive (ID 47H) exists for sample dumps, but the manual refers to a separate System Exclusive document for its format, so none is mapped. Untested on hardware.
